Jonathan Mendez began dancing in Cali,Colombia at the Colombian Institute for Classical Ballet. He continued his training on full scholarship at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at the American Ballet Theatre. He has performed with Incolballet — Colombia’s Premier Dance Company, Avi Scher and Dancers, Alberta Ballet, and ARC Dance. He also performs with Les Ballets Grandiva and Les Ballets Eloelle, two companies that specialize in all male comedic ballets. He is an American Ballet Theatre certified teacher and is also featured in the Dance Documentary: “First Position”.
