Primary Children’s Program

For children ages 3 to 7 years.

Child must be age 3 and toilet trained within the current school year (September – December) to register.

The Primary Program introduces children, three to seven years old, to Ballet through a carefully designed syllabus with an emphasis on musicality, imagination, and creative movement in an enthusiastic and nurturing environment.

Class sizes are limited to 8 students per class

Number of classes per week: 1 – 2

Performance opportunity: Annual Nutcracker production (students must be registered for the entire school year & attend the audition) and biennial School showcase and Demonstration performance.

Creative Movement (CM):

Female: PINK leotard (CAPEZIO #CC201C child high neck tank or BLOCH – MIRELLA #M201C Child’s scoop front camisole), pink footed tights and pink leather/vegan ballet slippers.

  • Ballet wrap sweaters in PINK/ SKY BLUE /WHITE (CAPEZIO wrap sweater) are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Male: White t-shirt, underwear, black leggings, white socks, black leather ballet shoes.

  • Long sleeve shirts are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Pre-Ballet (PB):

Female: LIGHT/POWDER BLUE leotard (CAPEZIO #CC100C camisole/ CAPEZIO #CC201C high neck tank or  BLOCH-MIRELLA #M201C Child’s scoop front camisole), pink footed tights and pink leather/vegan ballet slippers.

  • Ballet wrap sweaters in PINK/ SKY BLUE/WHITE (CAPEZIO wrap sweater) are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Male: White t-shirt, underwear, black leggings, white socks, black leather ballet shoes.

  • Long sleeve shirts are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Elementary 1 & 2 (E1&2) *Required white alignment waist belt:

Female: ROYAL BLUE leotard (BLOCH- MIRELLA #M201C/ #M201L camisole leotard) with white waist belt (Hip Alignment belt white 1/2′′), pink footed tights and pink leather ballet slippers.

  • Ballet wrap sweaters in PINK /SKY BLUE / WHITE (CAPEZIO wrap sweater) are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Male: Level 1 or Elementary 1 & 2 (E1&2) – White t-shirt, underwear, black leggings, white socks, black leather ballet shoes.

    • Long Sleeve shirts are allowed for class if the temperature is cold.

Hair for all classes:

Female: Please have hair securely tied neatly away from the face. Students with long hair should put hair in a nice secure ballet bun.

Male: Hair should be secured away from the face. Products (i.e. hair spray, mousse) or bandana/head bands may be used.
