Kurt Froman was a member of New York City Ballet, from 1995 to 2002. His Broadway career began with the lead role in Twyla Tharp and Billy Joel’s show Movin’ Out. Other Broadway credits include Pal Joey, An American in Paris (Original Dance Captain), and Billy Elliot the Musical (Resident Choreographer). He currently heads the Men’s Division at PNB School.

School Demos are a true favorite among our friends and families. This informal performance of the syllabus progression of the entire school offers a look into the technique and training methods emphasized and used at ARC.
The professional ARC Dance Company will join the School for the second half of the program in the complete ballet of La Fille mal gardée by Marie Chong.
La Fille mal gardée (The Wayward Daughter) is a beloved comic ballet about a mischievous village girl, Lise, who outwits her mother to marry her true love, the poor peasant Colas, instead of a rich suitor. The ballet features vibrant folk dances like the Maypole and Garland dance.

- Children’s for ages 3-7+yrs
June 8 – 26 - Student/Youth for ages 8-15+yrs
June 8 – 26 & July 6-24 - Open Intensive for ages 11-19+yrs
July 6 – 24 & August 3 – 21 - Intensive in Leavenworth, WA for ages 13 – 17+ yrs
July 27 – 31 - Pre-Professional Intensive (by audition) for serious students ages 14 – 23 yrs
August 3-21 - Adult Summer Ballet Workshop for ages 16+ years

ARC Dance Company
ARC Dance operates a 9,000 square foot facility in the North Ballard/Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle. ARC serves the community through its school’s dance training programs as well as professional company concerts at the Leo Kreielsheimer and Bagley Wright Theatres at Seattle Center. The Company fosters the art of dance by producing the creative work of current dance makers on an ensemble of classically-trained, professional dancers.
